43rd annual Sci-Fi Marathon Jan. 19 and 20

Join the CWRU Film Society Jan. 19 and 20 in Strosacker Auditorium for one of Case Western Reserve University’s favorite traditions—the 43rd annual Sci-Fi Marathon. Enjoy 24+ hours of back-to-back-to-back, etc. … new and classic science fiction films.

Friday, Jan. 19

Saturday, Jan. 20

  • 12:30 a.m. “Deep Blue Sea” (1999)
  • 2 a.m. Surprise 1
  • 4 a.m. “Repo Man” (1984)
  • 6 a.m. “Red Dawn” (1984)
  • 8 a.m. “Big Hero 6” (2015)
  • 3:30 p.m. “Idiocracy” (2006)
  • 5:15 p.m. Surprise 2 
  • 9 p.m. “Blade Runner 2049” (2017)

Stay for the entire marathon for $30, or gain entry to a single movie for $4.

Some insider’s tips for those staying for the duration: Bring deodorant, a toothbrush and towel. Space for sleeping bags is available on a first-come first-served basis.
